Steve Peters
Steve is a talented general contractor located in Houghton, MI with over 25 years of residential construction experience. His craftsmanship can be found around Houghton and Keweenaw County.
Steve’s interest in building started in his childhood years, watching his grandfather, George, create and build objects from simple creations to the most complicated, including his own house, tools, furniture and an endless number of projects. That experience awoke a passion for building in Steve, who as a kid would spend most of his time in his grandpa’s workshop.
In 1996 Steve obtained his Michigan Residential Builder License and founded Peters Building Contractors in 2013. Steve’s experience as a building contractor includes timber frame, cordwood, logs, and custom homes.
